Welcome to the first full week of July, which continues to be a rather slow week for new game releases. This week's major release puts you in a time loop with your fellow resistance fighters. This is followed by an online tactical action shooter, some old balls and bats, a post-apocalyptic 2D side scroller, a remake and another remake, although the two have nothing in common with each other.

Every Day We Fight / This week's major release / Thursday 10 July
Citizens from either side of an ongoing war must set aside their differences as a mysterious alien invasion threatens humanity - time has come to a stop for all but your small band of freedom fighters. Caught in a seemingly endless loop, you must shape these ordinary civilians into heroes as they repeatedly fight and die in this turn-based tactical roguelite. Real-time exploration, stealth, and teamwork are essential as you acquire new skills, seek out more powerful weapons, escape the time loop, and save the world. Welcome to the resistance. Steam link

Anarchy Legends Online / Monday 7 July / Early access
ALO is a F2P multiplayer tactical action third-person shooter developed by Diat Funa, a solo developer inspired by old competitive multiplayer games focusing on team-based tactics and real individual skills. Steam link

Backyard Baseball '01 / Tuesday 8 July
Backyard Baseball 2001 is the second Backyard Baseball game, and the fourth overall game, in the Backyard Sports franchise. Build your roster from iconic Backyard athletes and legendary MLB players. Strike out opponents, hit homers, and earn hilarious Power-ups. Steam link

Warranted Humanity / Wednesday 9 July
Warranted Humanity is a post-apocalyptic 2D side scroller where choices matter. Fight different infected and rival factions, scavenge, skill up, craft, manage your shelter and other survivors, all in a race against time to ensure humanity's survival before everyone is irreversibly infected. Steam link

Patapon 1+2 Replay / Thursday 10 July
Patapon is an action adventure where players use the rhythm of 4 Mystical Drums to command cute and mysterious eyeball-like creatures known as Patapons. As the player, you are the God of the Patapons and lead them on a grand adventure to Earthend. Steam link

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 / Friday 11 July
Get hyped for the legendary franchise to return with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4. Everything you loved is back, but revamped with more skaters, new parks, gnarlier tricks, eardrum shattering music, plus a whole lot more. Steam link

Hoho Tony hawk +1

pata pata pata pon
pon pon pata pon

Gods I don't want to buy games, but Tony Hawk 4 is essentially a must-buy. The best game in the series IMO.

I'd be waiting for breakdowns, the game has been "revamped" and we've got truckloads of evidence that these remakes tend to lose gameplay, assets, and overall content and feel.

Weren't 1+2 praised because they were just the old games with new graphics?

Past performance is not indicative of future results.

Sure, the 1+2 bundle may have been properly preserved (and I dont know if they were), but that doesnt mean they have done the same for 3+4. Attitudes of developers and publishers change on a dime these days.

Every time I hear pro skater this comes to mind.

From what I saw of videos for THPS 1 they kept it true to form with the N64 version well enough on the revamp.

Oh. Then I'll never buy this. Even back when the first game were released I was very annoyed by the time limit format, the fourth was the only game I properly enjoyed.
Same here:(
