Razer, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced the launch of the Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro, the latest evolution of its most iconic gaming mouse. With over 20 million units sold worldwide, the DeathAdder line is renowned for its ergonomic excellence and elite esports performance. The DeathAdder V4 Pro builds on this legacy with next-generation upgrades, developed in close collaboration with top-tier esports professionals and engineered to for the highest levels of competitive play.

Engineered for Elite Performance
The DeathAdder V4 Pro is the first gaming mouse to feature Razer HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2—delivering an ultra-stable connection, over 63% greater power efficiency, and 37% lower latency than its predecessor. Thanks to this breakthrough in wireless technology and a redesigned dongle optimized for peak performance, it ensures lightning-fast responsiveness at up to 8000 Hz in both wired and wireless modes. All this cutting-edge performance is backed by up to 150 hours of high-performance gameplay at 1000 Hz, giving gamers the endurance they need to stay ahead.

Debuting in the DeathAdder V4 Pro is Razer's first Optical Scroll Wheel, purpose-built for esports. More precise and durable than traditional mechanical scroll wheels, it offers triple the durability and consistent, tactile control even under intense gameplay.

The mouse also features the all-new Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen-4, redesigned for a crisp, enhanced click feel and rated for an industry-leading 100 million clicks—delivering unmatched longevity and reliability.

At its core is the Razer Focus Pro 45K Optical Sensor Gen-2, offering flawless tracking across a wide range of surfaces. With up to 45,000 DPI, 900 IPS, and 85 G, it delivers 99.8% resolution accuracy. Advanced features like Dynamic Sensitivity, Mouse Rotation, and Sensitivity Matcher give players a decisive edge in high-stakes scenarios.

Ultra-Lightweight Ergonomics
Weighing just 56 grams (black) and 57 grams (white), the DeathAdder V4 Pro wireless ergonomic mouse sets a new benchmark for ultra-lightweight gaming mice. Its iconic ergonomic shape—trusted by fans and pros alike—has been thoughtfully refined to enhance both performance and comfort. Larger PTFE feet ensure smoother gliding across surfaces, while split side buttons are designed to minimize accidental clicks during intense gameplay. A smooth-touch finish not only improves grip but also adds a premium feel.

Constructed with over 67% of bio-based and post-consumer recycled plastics, the DeathAdder V4 Pro is designed with sustainability in mind. Razer has optimized the internal structure to maintain a light yet strong build. Reinforced side walls add durability without compromising weight, and the re-engineered chassis strikes the perfect balance between speed, control, and long-lasting comfort.

Designed with Esports Pros
The DeathAdder V4 Pro wireless gaming mouse was developed with direct input from professional players, including Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, a Counter-Strike legend with 10 international championship titles and the newest member of Team Razer. Razer collaborated closely with NiKo to fine-tune elements of the mouse, from weight distribution to button feel and overall handling.

"The DeathAdder V4 Pro gives me the precise control I need in competitive matches," said NiKo. "I've been using early prototypes since January, including in official tournaments, and shared a lot of live feedback throughout the process. I also visited Razer's HQ and development lab in Singapore, where I was able to speak directly with the engineers and help fine-tune the mouse for top-level performance."

"Every millisecond matters in esports, and the DeathAdder V4 Pro is built to deliver that competitive edge," said Jeffrey Chau, Global Esports Director at Razer. "The DeathAdder V4 Pro is the result of years of collaboration with the world's top players. It's not just an upgrade—it's a complete redefinition of what a high-performance ergonomic mouse can be."

The DeathAdder V4 Pro highlights Razer's commitment to advancing gaming technology through smart innovation and sustainable design. Built for competitive play, it blends performance-focused engineering with eco-conscious materials to support both gameplay and responsible production.

Is that why you choked the fuck out in the Major? *bazinga*

Jokes aside, I am less high on the DA shape these days for ergo enjoers. It’s kind of the Superlight of the ergos - it’s okay, it’s inoffensive, but one can probably do better with something like a Vaxee E1. Maybe a Thorn if one wants something more aggressive?

I've tried a few Razer mice recently viper v3 pro, cobra pro and Basilisk V3 pro and they where all terrible fit for my hand with the Basilisk being the least offensive the viper and cobra hurt my hand in a matter of minutes. I'm sticking with my 502 while the search continues.

The build quality of the new mice is amazing with the best switches I've ever used and the sensor with 8k hyper polling dongle really felt connected but they got to really improve comfort I had a death adder when they first came out and loved it but tbh I'm not even going to try this one I've experienced enough discomfort caused by razer mice for the time being.

Viper V4 pro hasn't been released yet.

my first razer product is the lachesis and it is the last... razer is too expensive for what it is

I gave Razer another chance due to my Glorious Gaming Model O's battery life is terrible and terrible software. lol I love the Model O's feel and it's a great mouse but you have to charge it daily. I bought it from Best Buy and bought the 2 year geeksquad protection. It finally started completely shutting off and not holding it's battery life. So, I took it back and they said I could get another one or pick a different mouse. So I ended up getting the Razer Deathadder V3 Hyperspeed and WOW. This mouse is amazing. If I had to think of one thing I wish they did better would be the size. It is a tad small but not like a travel mouse. It's very close to the Model O in shape.

The shape of the Model D was the best for me but It died much quicker than the Model O.. The bad part was I didn't get Geeksquad protection with the first one. lol I might have to buy this new model if something happens to mine... My wife might get an upgrade.. lol

I think the dongle dome is ugly. And from Boardzy YouTube reviewer, I learned that they use a plastic that's eco friendly, which isn't the best this highend mouse could feel. I've had several Razer mice in the past years, now I know why it felt cheaper then how reviewers were describing Razer's mice.
Otherwise, with with this new mouse, it looks like Razer is now in parody with the rest of the new gaming mouse features.
They could still make their software less... "intrusive." And I'm still hearing their software is hogging resources still. Their software is on brand for them, to have fancy effects/graphics and ads for their other peripherals. But let's be real, software for peripherals is best left to look like Windows XP/Microsoft Explorer/HTML 3, because people just don't interact with the app that often and it doesn't need an update every bloody time you open it.

For many years, maybe 10-15, i only had deathadder style mice's and actual deathadder, some version of it, and of course the famous logitech g502, heavy but perfect fit.
At some point, i bought, because it was on offer a Razer Viper, at first i hated it, it was like the stupidest mouse ever, it didn't properly fit my hand like a g502 or deathadder, what was even the point of this stupid mouse, it even hurt my hand at first because i was trying to handle it like a deathadder.
Time passed and i stopped trying to grip the mouse like a deathadder or g502 and revelation, the best mouse design ever, extremely light and superior to deathadder style if you don't fight it.
Trust me, Viper design is genius but you have to forget that initially comfortable g502 grip, also the razer vipers are super light, i would never go back to a g502, they are at least double the weight.
How far we got, i remember the days when i had mice's with BALLS, they got dirty and i had to take the ball out and clean the wheels, and now we complain about grams.

Sorry but I disagree because I want my hand to not have issues because a mouse demanded I change how I hold it. Like you I've been using mice from them having balls and I've used a lot and have never kept a mouse that didn't feel right. Perhaps if Razer included more information about how to hold there nice or best use scenarios or I don't know something they wouldn't have so many returns on Amazon because every single mouse and keyboard I bought had a frequently returned notification on the product page and I returned them all also ( 3 mice & 2 keyboards).

As usual, more garbaggio gamr tois for da gamr bois & gurlz....

And to top it off, that awful-looking, uber-el-cheapo POS dongle absolutely KILLZ what little appeal it may have or have had to whomever is considering it...

What's the point of it, when they could have just put a wee bit more effort into making a REAL wireless rodent that works just fine with built-in RF or Bluetooth.....

Oh yea, I know....

it's yet anutha place to slap on that fugggily, silly AF logo so that it stares at you like a lost puppy in a hailstorm, hahahaha :)

pfffffff........

One of the keyboards I tried was the Black Window v4 pro 75% TKL and it was very well built. The space bar especially was a major improvement over my V3 pro and I really liked the new orange switches. Synapsis has also come a long way I was able to get all my macro's running in no time it's night and day compared to the garbage Logitech software I use with my 502 I know there's a lot of hate for Razer but honestly I'd recommend there current keyboards to anyone if they could stomach the price. I know you can get cheaper from other manufacturers but it's the macro ease of use and setup that keeps me using them.

Well, since I am generally a pretty open-minded person, I will reserve my final judgement until I can see & play with one in person, but having said that, I must tell you that my expectations are pretty low, given their track record of making stuff that does not hold up for very long or play nice with other periphs & softwarez...

If it holds up the same way my Black Widow V3 has your golden. It sounds like I'm a rep for Razer and I'm really not if anyone can point out a keyboard with better switches, can game for 24hrs on a single charge and the software is easy to use and setup macros for applications and games I'm genuinely all ears because my Keyboard will need replaced in the next 12 months.
