The only thing "new" on these board I can detect in the specs yet available is that some come with 512Mb BIOS-chip instead of 256Mb. Otherwise they are just additional designs for a bigger portfolio, but nothing new.

10GbE + 5GbE on Taichi Creator is stupid, because there are no 5GbE-switches and probably never will be, so you have to use 10GBase-T switches with NBASE-T capability anyway. If you want to use Link Aggregation, AFAIK this would only work with 2x5GbE, so you are better of with 1x10GbE. They should have used a 2x10GbE NIC like X550 or the new E610. Heck, since AQC113CS can use either Gen4x1 or Gen3x2, they would have been better of even with two of these.

One interesting detail on Nova: While a 2nd (and 3rd) M.2 Gen5x4 is usually only possible on X870(E) by switching x16 to x8 (thus losing 4 lanes if you only omplement 2nd M.2), they went another way an made the 2nd M.2 shared with USB4-controller, so you can choose between x2 for both of them or x4 to only one of them.

But, to all these boards, and X870(E) in generall: To few PCIe-slots that aren't shared with somethin important, to few SATA for my purposes.

I guess the new revision fixes the bug that makes the CPU's burn?

The X870E Taichi OCF is literally only the second AM5 ATX board with 1DPC.
The other is ASUS X870E Apex that costs 700€.

Here's hoping X870 Taichi OCF will be cheaper but im not sure by how much when the regular X870E Taichi costs 440€ already.

based on the daily post you see on the asrock reddit i'm not sure this is fixed yet.

They announced this two months ago at Computex, not much of news. They’re already months late to compete with the Apex, and we still have no price for the OCF. Guess it’s moot as I gave up and bought an Apex anyways.

All the death reports on Reddit definitely didn't spell well for Asrock

Too many trolls turning up just to bag Asrock over something they repotedly saw on Reddit, go back to Reddit and cry there trolls.
