Hatsune Miku x ASUS TUF Gaming Build

Thanks for sharing.

Such a aquarium case is nice for a figure inside the glass.

Maybe some sort of gpu standoff in the form of a figure. I think that is really hard to execute. Or a figure which sits at the corner of the graphic card.
Those cables for the graphic card may give also an opportunity to cover it with something fancy.

I’m about to go on vacation let me see what I can do

If it was easier to acquire that motherboard I'd definitely think about upgrading my 5900X.

Sick build, grats :respect:

The fact that there is no squeaky PC speaker in this build configured to play World is Mine or Love is War on a loop permanently confirms that Solaris is a fake fraud, obviously.

(Cool build, all jokes aside)

Thanks! I’ll grab some more benchmarks and the last of the pics when I get home in the next few days.

I wont build it until I get the case, but you are 100% right because I already looked it up and hunted down the chinese user manual.

These are pictures from the showcase link (below)

This made me wonder: is it possible to change the background image and colors in the uefi rom by myself, preferably without bricking it and having to flash back using ch341 or something

I’ll check when I’m infront of it for you but I didn’t see one and I don’t see why you would when there are several that are much cheaper that are close equivalents.

The entire point is that its thematic.

I meant in a general sense; Is it possible to mod any MB bios to swap the images to make an anime edition to flex
Also it would be nice to install arch linux and create a hatsune miku desktop environment, just to make it complete
It looks kawaii btw, thx for posting

Ready for a Hatsune Miku x ASUS ROG round 2? :P

Gross I was scared the parts were going to look like that at first. Way too much teal.

I am back from vacation now and need a bit to adjust and fix my schedule. Then I will continue the benchmarks and photos!

I do have a little Miku statue that came in while I was out. So now there is a case idol.

I got the holographic version of her (my other statues are far to big)

Will continue benchmarks soon.

Have a Hatsune themepack for windows for all the sounds and everything?? ;)

I grabbed the BIOS pictures and screen shots. As I walked all the settings there was no user modifiable option to change the image like on some boards.

You would need to edit it yourself.

hahaha maybe one day. This isnt my main system. Maybe it should be? I think I would want a white 5090 for that though. As for a Miku theme that would likely be going to far for me. Though I did look for you, and there is this.

It is fancy ^^, but not flashy :)

I was thinking why My ram where in different slots than Yours from pictures.

Ps Added to watch list :).
And will You post all of the posters, and everything that came with components on one photo ? :D (curious how much of it is there :) )

I havent forgot about this; but I packed everything up before vacation and its a real pain to pull it all back out and I just havent had time yet.

I finished all the benchmarks I would normally run for something like this. I am willing to consider any test someone would like to see:

From here on I will likely test openSuse on this machine to periodically test the nvidia 5 series drivers.

You know you need this as the boot up and shut down jingle ;)

Give me a bit to throw 2 more M.2's in and one of my other test GPUs.

If it will maintain x16 with 3x M.2's I'll consider making it happen.

Well i needed a card that was x16 and only needed a single 8pin (i was too lazy to pull off the back panel but i did already leave myself 4 8pins and a 12vhpwr) so i dug in my closet and got out a test 3060 I had lying around. Then I grabbed a few NVMe from my test bench.

The 3060 isn’t 5.0 obviously but….. this board doesn’t split. With all 3 NVMe populated crystaldisk indicated x4 and GPUz indicated x16 @4.0 (the max link rate of the 3060) so if I can figure out how to get the thick 5090 rad in here I will switch to it from my main rig atleast for a bit.

I never expected @Solaris17 to be a Hatsune Miku fan, but it's cool, totally love the components graphics design :rockout:

I have to agree, it looks pretty sweet my tech brotha.

Nice job :rockout:

Thanks!

Also managed to do some linux tests today!

Ubuntu 25.04 was as of right now able to run whatever I threw at it including some benchmarks I had time for (updated in the benchmark post) I was pleasently surprised at the auto detect options. Every game was playable. This is at native 4k, 575 drivers in wayland.
