Would Arctic Pro 12 Fans Improve Temps and Airflow?

Hey everyone,

I’m currently using the Phantom Spirit Evo to cool my 7800X3D, and while browsing Amazon I noticed they’re now selling 5-packs of the Arctic F12 Pro fans at a pretty decent price.

I’m thinking about replacing the stock fans on my air cooler with these Arctic Pro 12s. Would the increased static pressure help improve my CPU temps?

Also, I’m using the ASUS AP201 case, and I have Thermalright TL-C12L fans (the 28mm thick version) for case airflow. Since those fans have relatively low static pressure, I’m wondering if swapping them for the Arctic Pro 12s would help push more air through the mesh panels and dust filters.

Has anyone tried a similar setup or compared these fans directly? Would love to hear your thoughts or suggestions before I pull the trigger!

Thanks in advance!

I doubt it would make much difference unless you were able to run them at a higher speed within your acceptable noise range. Hardware Canucks did try some alternate fan options when they did a review of the PS 120:

Thanks! I'll watch, I guess I'll save my money and get some pizza lol. Thank you again.
I'll just set up a silent fan curve and go from there.
