Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has had any issues with the above motherboard, I have managed to install and configure Windows XP SPII. I have also teamed the onboard network cards. The issue arises once I begin to use my new PC it simply hangs (freezes), on occasion I am able to use the PC for a maximum of 20 minutes before it freezes again. I then have to reset the PC before I can use it again for another 20 minutes.

I have updated the chipset drivers; however this action has not made any difference, any advice would be grate. My configuration is as follows;

P5N32-E SLI Board, 2Gig Ram, 500Gig Sata Drive, Intel Dual Core extreme 3 GHz processor.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

same board here. read some forums that enabling PnP OS in bios should help some issues with windows. atleast bsods and all the other bullshit stopped when i did that. allso manually set ur ram timing and voltage to manuafacturer defaults.

and yes update bios. just dont never ever flash thru windows, but with the ez flash in bios.
just noticed that u have extreme proc so definately update to latest bios as it add support for newer processors.

Thanks for the updates (Solved)

Thank you all for the updates, I have managed to resolve the issue by updating the Bios as advised and the HD onboard sound card drivers.
