Zotac Shows off GeForce 8800GT 1024MB GDDR3 with Orange PCB

Ugh, they use Qimonda chips instead of the more efficient and better Samsung chips.

let me back up my statement.

8800gtx .. big whoop, thats the top end of the market, with what, 1% of the market. 3850 and 8800GT is in the middle, where the meat is, mmm, lots of flesh on that bone, but how long did they take to get here? Two points.

DX10 ... i dont think it has bee na major achievement yet or ever will, ill reserve final judgement til i get my HD3870.

8800GTX is almost 2 years old and still top of the pile. Lots of people have the cards, even if you yourself dont. An achievement? hell yes, i think the money early adopters spent on them has paid off greatly.

That's because Samsung doesn't make GDDR3 chips that would have a density high enough for this card.
