Sony Japan Discontinues the 20GB and 60GB PlayStation 3 Models

Yes, I understand that, but I'm saying the most popular games are mostly 1080p, going out on a limb there. OH, and I'm not as dumb as your assuming in that you think I think hard drives enable PS2 compatibility.

Most popular games are NOT 1080p. And if you didn't think it you wouldn't have jumping in by saying that it doesn't matter because the 40GB model can be upgraded with a 2.5" hard drive. Implying that you thought it there was no difference between the 40 and 80GB models.

Just for the record:

The only original model I would want is the 60GB version, not the 20GB version. I, personally, would take the 40GB version with absolutely no PS2 support over the 20GB version. The built in WiFi is more important to me than PS2 support.

Personally, I'd rather have the 20GB over the 40GB. I don't need the WiFi, and the 20 has 2 extra USB, to make up for the lack of a card reader.

But I have a 60GB anyway, and couldn't be happier with it.
