More delays are coming today, as Everex's highly anticipated ultramobile CloudBook PC launch will have to wait a month or so, because of some last-minute changes to its Linux-based software. CloudBook was supposed to be available from Wal-Mart Inc. stores and the Walmart.com Web site today. Unfortunately in an e-mail, Everex's director of marketing, Paul Kim, said that "a couple of last-minute software tweaks" prevented the CloudBook, a competitor to rival Taiwanese ASUSTeK Computer's successful Eee PC, from reaching stores just three weeks after its debut at the Consumer Electronics Show. The $399 computer runs gOS, a flavor of Linux based on the popular Ubuntu distribution but with a reworked user interface aimed at smaller screens like CloudBook's 7-inch display. The upcoming Chinese New Year holidays are also delaying the CloudBook's rollout.

7" mini laptop?

I hadnt heard of this, but it sounds interesting.

edit: only specs i can see is 30GB hard drive. cant find any other details.

:( damn .. its at a ncie pricepoint though

doesnt look too bad either. small screen is a pain, but with DVI out it certainly has its use as a mobile PC.
Its still faster than my P3 laptop, so i wouldnt mind one.

It would be a good replacement to my P2 Laptop

Would it be possible to put windows on it

it would be possible, but the tiny screen and low resolution would make it tricky to use.
