very cool, I do wish that they would give better control of voltages.

Like allowing you to increase the voltage, if you have good cooling, theres no reason not to increase the voltage some(better OC's obvisously), but the only way to do this is hard mods or a pencil mod. And I am not a fan of these methods.

MMMMMM verry impressive, I wish it worked with the 3870 and 3850!!! Physically modding a card is not for every one. The 3870X2 uses the same architechture as any 38xx based cards, this would probably work on the other cards as well. I guess we will hav to wait and see. Someone WILL eventually try it.

I dont think you can change the voltage for 3870X2 cards. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Is there anything like this for nvidia cards?

thats were a pencil mod or a hard mod would come into play

I think you'll find it will work with any 38xx card...

Volt modding is incredibly easy. There's plenty of detailed tutorials.

It is, just be very careful while measuring the voltage with a DMM!!

Volt modding scares me.

on a side note, there is a tut on here I think for volt-modding the 3870x2

Question!
What happened to "ATITool"?
0.26 is the latest and it's a "Dec 08 2006" release...
So What???
Maybe everyone knows it, but I won't, so please tel me!
Thanks!

There is a volt mod thread on here for the 3870 x2,i posted it a week or so ago i think.
