one guy was recently asking for a monitor with good speakers.. they would suit him..

thow i recon "boombox" would be something of an exaggeration.. he he

neat enough idea thow..

trog

I was just recently looking at monitors, and this one deffinitely has the best speakers.

As far as the antec goes, here's the plan, 2 of those scythe speakers I could use for mids, while I mutate another to accept some quality tweeters for 3 bays, and one 8" sub for 3 other bays, plus a dvd and card reader. I would think a built-in LCD screen on top is a must too. This is going to take some time...

I like them would clear my desktop. Scythe is really making some cool items lately.

hmm... when I get the rest of my money back... anyone want me to try thsese out?

that is sick!!!! I will take 20 for my new CMS stacker project

These would be awesome for lan parties. Pop one in and you will never need to worry about headphones again! Plus, I could show off some music or videos without having to bring along external speakers as well.

I would jump on these, but i would love to have a 3.5mm jack on the front if i want to switch to headphones.

OMG I can't believe I'll almost definitely buy this :banghead:

These would be ideal in the desktop PCs with the system under the monitor.

Yeah erocker, find parts that look good for the 900 and get a 5'25 touchscreen monitor for it. Make sure you choose stuff that looks neat for the PC. Like say, small GPU so you dont need extra wriring.... With the 9 bays, use one for HDD, (and fan), three for speakers, two for monitor (i assume they are that big), and one for DVD+RW. i'd put speakers at the middle, and fan at the bottom. Good luck, cant wait to see it :D

(and its pretty cool if you get it like that... a PC which only requires ONE cord to work-thats just awesome).

From all the pictures I've seen, it looks like standard DVD size. In the instruction manual there's even a hand by it. Are you sure it's not just the size of the screen measured diagonally? And either way, the case is more than 7" wide, it's going to be a "modding" job.

That screen is meant for the themaltake mozart, or their lanbox that they sell.

also, complement the screen and speakers with this: http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/embedded/artigo/

you will have a AIO computer right in your drivebays :rockout:.

This is what it's getting: (parts I have)

AMD 64 2800+ (s754)
Biostar NF3 AGP MicroATX Motherboard
Creative X-Fi Audio Sound card
ATi 9800SE

I'm going to be on the lookout for a small table-top mounted touchscreen LCD to mount onto the media tray on top of the 900. I've got the keep this on the cheap as possible.

The Scythe Kama AMP, which is reviewed here compliments these speakers nicely.:)

Wow, nice Speakers! But what it's useful for? :D
I mean, Speakers in a Bay? I think speakers on the Desktop are better.

It'd be ideal for lan parties is about all really.Theres no way i'd replace my mordaunt shorts with them.
