Pakistan Blocks YouTube

wasnt there a report somewhere just recently of gangs and other "groups" using utube and other such sites as message/info passing centers?and with pakistans recent terrorist problems i can kinda see them wanting to shut down these groups communication infrastructures.... if in fact that is the case here.

Just read an update on this. Apparently a pakistan telecom company in essence
"started advertising itself as the fastest route to YouTube. But instead of serving up videos of skateboarding dogs, it sent the traffic into oblivion." This was over a few hours on sunday afternoon i guess


Its a good read and gets into a little bit on how internet traffic is routed.
