The Razer Salmosa is the quickest entry level gaming-grade mouse armed with the fastest tracking optical sensor in the world. Designed to be one of the lightest and most compact mice of its class, it is the ideal mouse of choice for finger-tip grip gamers who seek both speed and control.
Salmosa features the 1800dpi Razer 3G Infrared sensor, which enables movement speeds of up to 2.25 times faster than other regular gaming mice. The Razer Salmosa also comes with additional toggle switches on the bottom of the mouse that enable gamers to make 800/1800dpi and 125/500/1000Hz polling rate adjustments - without the need for any software drivers. I don't mind them releasing a new mouse every half year, but I do mind that the price of the older ones don't go down! I'd by one, but they are all overpriced :(

Hmm, entry level? Could this be a new CHEAP razer mouse  *got interested* Price? Under 40€ and I'm sold.

Approximate size: 115mm (length) x 63mm (width) x 37mm (height)

Same width and height as my laser mouse 6000, but 5mm shorter, propably same weight, this is already superlight. Nice that it has a pollingrate adjustment, propably works in Vista too. Missing my 500hz USB driver hack (yes there is a complicated on for Vista too, but rather ot mess with it). Like that it has nothing extra, although I'm kinda used to using 4th button as back for browser.

EDIT: already cheaters in that flash game.. Over million scores and I only got 44k (and 182. with it) 10M for "1st" he'd have to hit 10000 boulders right as they spawn, yeah, sure.

EDIT2: "Razer(TM) today launched the Razer Salmosa(TM), Razer's first entry level mouse at CeBIT, Europe's renowned peripherals trade show."

Razer Salmosa - US: $39.99; Europe: EUR 29.99

AVAILABILITY: Q3 2008 - Worldwide <- is that next month or in the summer?

Nice, I'm buying one, if that price holds true :)

I still love the only razer mouse I have bought, and I find no reason to upgrade. Especially for the prices that Razer charges.

Here! And that's a good question. But on the other hand, Razer is Razer. Hard to compete against it (I think)..

Well, I'm extremely happy with my Razer Lachesis. It's ultra-smooth and most definitely the BEST mouse I have ever owned. Go Razer Go!

How much will this cost? What are the chances of me getting it... The product looks good and probably is good but will it also work for online games, not the cpu games?

:D

Look at my earlier post (third) for bold text for price.
