Hi
in a complete :banghead: i flushed the bios of my asus radeon 9200 256mb with a wrong bios without saving the original one before.
Since this bios is not available from the download section, IS THERE anybody that could make a backup of his own bios and give it to me?

That would be very nice. With the asus 9200 128 mb bios it works also, but only 128 MB are allocated.
I tried also all the other manufacturers 9200 256 bios that I found, but it does not work.

Thanks a lot in advance!!!

You should always save your old bios before flashing. ATi Tool has a great bios dump feature that makes this process painless.

Ok, here it is. I could'nt dump the current loaded bios, because it is disabled. I think on that model it is not possible.
but here the one that I have loaded.

Rename it to .rom.

Try this one. A 9200 SE 256MB made to work with the timings from your bios and that it tehnicly is from Asus.

P.S. The bios that you attached is teoreticly a 256MB one.

Edit: rename to .rom :)

Thanks for that, but same result...after booting ...black screen. The only working bios upgrade ist the one I attached. All the bios from here (including yours ;) ) are not working.

HMMM......ok...its not a real problem....Anyway I have to buy a new PC :)

Why the "dump bios" button is always disabled in "ati tray tools"?

Is it not possible to dump the radeon 9200's bios? Or is there a tool which can handle that?
