I have overclocked my Q6600 to 3.0GHz @ 1333MHz on stock auto voltage and my Corsair Dominator XMS2 DDR2 PC2-8500 RAM to 800MHz on 2.225 volts. I also have an Abit IN9-32X-MAX mobo and set the N/B Strap to 1066MHz or default. But everytime I run Prime95, I would fail after about 6-7 hours into the tests. I've tried raising the VCore up to 1.32 volts but then I would fail Prime95 within the first hour. Same with any VCore voltage settings between stock auto at 1.28-1.32. I'm totally stumped on why I keep failing Prime95. I can play games like Battlefield 2142 just fine for hours with no problems, but I just can't seem to pass the Prime95 Stress Tests. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong, or suggest anything that might help me out?
EDIT: I just want to have a rock solid stable system.
