Thought we played the US beta? Whatever, I played too. Pretty nice game though the monthly fee sounds bad for a game without PVP > limited replayability.

personally, i sorta resent any sort of game that actually charges you a monthly fee to play it... i mean seriously... you spend enough of your very hard earned ducats on the game itself and now you have to acually pay more every month to play it?
definantly not my cup of tea.

and yet another reason why i dislike MMORPG's...

Ah yes, you let me download the Euro beta as well. Though something went wrong and I never retried. Either way, we played :)

If you speak german (and soon, there'll be a french version, too) you could try out this free MMORPG - it's a browser game (so it runs on the old grey box at work, too ;) and really any PC, Mac or even laptop without proper 3D hardware, all you need is an internet connection, a browser, javascript is already just optional - not mandatory, and time, lots of time, it's addictive!).
World of Dungeons

It's free, yes, but if you MUST spend something, you can pay for a "premium" account there and get more races/character classes to choose from for your hero. And a bigger "cargo hold" for the goodies you get from slaughtered enemies.

Fun!
