Microsoft has announced, Ninja Gaiden 2 will ship for Xbox 360 on June 6 a date that applies to North America and Europe. Though it was just released on the Xbox, the Ninja Gaiden series has been around for a long time. The original Ninja Gaiden which some of you might remember, was an 8-bit console arcade game released in 1988 in North America by Tecmo. Ninja Gaiden 2 features more blood, gore, and graphic violence than the previous installment. It includes scenes of Decapitation, Dismemberment, arms and legs flying through the air, and bodies being ripped apart.

I remember when Ninja Giaden was on NES. I love blood and gore i just hope this will be available on PC. Need more action/ non MMORPG 3rd person games. To many FPS and RTS games keep coming out. Dont get me wrong i love my FPS and RTS but everyone needs a change of flavor now and then.

Screenshot looks like poo.

Looks pretty crappy.

I guess you would've had to play the original Ninja Gaiden regularly
. .to be truly excited about the release.

Unfortunately this release will only be for the Xbox 360.

There are several videos cropping up on Youtube if you want to see the gameplay.

Ninja gaiden for the xbox was one of the best games I ever played on that counsel. The game is challenging, genuinely challenging. It was a rare treat, similar to other games but surpassing them in so many ways. Too bad I don't have a counsel. I won't be playing this installment.:ohwell:

Ninja Gaiden on the xbox was amazing one of the few challenging games ive played without being fustrating.
but this news is very old

will it come out for the PC?

Console. Why do I see so many people misspell this word?

I really liked this game on original Xbox. Too bad I bought Wii.

Maybe he didn't misspell it -- maybe he's honestly talking about his lack of legal help.

And anyway, about Ninja Gaiden -- thank God it doesn't feature any sex in it, or else it might actually get a MA rating here in the States! :shadedshu

wonder how long it will be until some parents group starts shouting and blames that game cos their stupid child went off and hit someother child on the head with a stick.

not at first - give it a few years - let the game go platinum a few times then pick it up in your local bargan bucket for a dollar - not much point beat'em ups coming out for the pc unless their MMO-Beat'em ups in which case this would be the first online beat'em up ive ever heard of & seen

single player games on pc dont get to see much light these days & Expansions released for single player games dont count.....

Throughout the decades of games, it's always been amazing how easily people are entertained with some games.

 Holy.... they should seriously lower the blood multiplier !!! and by the looks of it, whenever the player bleeds - your GFX card bleeds

And strangely, after seeing some vids of the gameplay, it looks like fun.

Yep, this game is going to suck balls, just like the first one. Might as well call it Ninja Gayden Poo.

I disagree. TF2 has awesome blood! Here's one I took.

Ninja Gaiden back on the NES and in the arcades was a fantastic game and the sequels that followed were awesome. I love the Ninja Gaiden: Sigma or Storm or whatever on the PS3. Too bad this aint coming out for it.
