All of you, who have the Xbox 360 can enjoy a full week of Xbox Live Gold for free. Starting on the 8th of May and ending on the 15th of May. This notice came from Xbox Europe, but may be true for all the Xbox 360 owners around the globe as well. If you have not gotten a Xbox 360, might as well grab one now and get hooked on Xbox Live Gold right from the start. Microsoft is doing the same thing as Valve, offer free days or weeks of play, in the hopes that some will buy the game or service afterwards

Xbox live should be free considering none of the content is free anymore. Per month fee+download costs= bullshit!

Yeah, the whole "micro transaction" phase cannot end soon enough. Its obnoxious to see new maps becoming available for a game (such as Call of Duty 2), then they expect you to pay an additional five to ten dollars for them. I know they put work into the game, but paying extra for features that should have been, well, already implemented seems ridiculous.
