Hello again, and first of all...for those who helped me 2 days ago on finding a rig in my $500-600 range i am sorry but i am back:laugh: . After i thought i was ready to buy that setup i thought "well this isn't too shabby for the buck im dishing out". So now i am back here on TP to ask some questions on my new idea.

So i have an older p4 setup on win xp, it looks someting like this:
p4 3.0gz -----
Old intel dgbfl series mobo ------
2g kingston pc3200 ram -----
ati hd 2600xt 512 mb -----
ISO 450w peak load psu
Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 80GB Hard Drive

Anyways i just thought, why not just replace the Mobo, Gpu, Ram and Cpu and just throw those things into my current tower?
So my question to you guys is, if i replace these parts stated above with these :

(Hand picked parts, pls don't tell me to change them :D)
-Asus p5n-e sli, socket 775 650i MOBO $ 119.99 cnd
-ocz 2gb pc6400 ddr2 800 mhz El dual channel Gold Gamer Rev2 RAN $54.99 cnd
-core2 duo e8400 3.0ghz 1333mhz fsb 6mb socket 775 CPU $179.99 cnd
-Pny 9800 gtx 512 mb ddr3 GPU $179.99 cnd

Will my ISO 450w peak load psu and my Maxtor DiamondMax Plus9 7200 rpm 80GB Hard Drive run with that new setup? Can that 450 peak load be enough for that 9800 and cpu?

Ps, im sorry for spamming these threads lately, but it seems i just can't make up my mind...
i think after this is answered i will be set.

Like , no. The hard drive should be O.K. but not the psu. Overdrawing from an old psu like that can blow other parts and you don`t want to do that to brand new stuff.

I agree I would get a quality 550W+ PSU with a single strong +12v rail. Corsair makes a good one.
