i know i wemt through all that trouble to get this card amd now im switching. it is only scoring like 350 points higher on valley and heaven than my 280x and its temps make me really uncomfortable it peeks at 87 celsius

What do you want it to do? Also is it the Gigabyte version?

I want it to be able to run witcher 3 maxed out and not have it reach 90 degrees Celsius

Maxing out TW3 is a tall order for 90% of video cards. I would expect it to be hot if you're trying to get it to do that. That's a blower cooler on it?

MSI gaming 290x? Hmm, well try upping the fan speed a bit I guess. But TW3 is a very demanding game in general. 1080p or 1440p?
