Parents were "mortified? More than a bit of an over-reaction. Add some candles & a plastic frog and call it good. The kid is three years old, that cake will be a novelty!
Seriously I'd call it a badly done cake, but "mortified" is part of why it's so unreal. I don't think cakes should be capable of that. But it's good joke material.
