It's OK.

Not the parts I'd pick if choosing for a new build though.

13600K plus Z790 is significantly better, and 6000 MT memory is on the low end for Intel.

These are going to be two generation old parts soon, I'm not surprised they're discounted.

That's not bad for the price. That is the 12-series processors, which means they came out late 2021, so keep that in mind. But it's a decent mid-range combo for the money. Really depends on how you're using it, but I think even if you're after the newest, hottest games, if you still have a large chunk to put on a screaming Video Card, that would be a decent base. Cutting Edge, it's not, but decent.

It is a good deal, as the parts bought individually would be over 450$ +Tax and shipping.

Motherboard 152$
Ram 100$
CPU 200$

If it makes your budget extend out to add a better GPU, I would pull the trigger on it.

I agree, not the parts I would pick. Besides the memory, the CPU and MB is just old stock that Newegg is trying to dump before fall refresh. It's not a horrible deal. Just depends on your budget really.

Yeah, unless you're very budget constrained, pick the parts you want first, then look to see if they go on sale, don't let sales dictate what you choose, because often older/worse parts are the ones that get discounted, to clear stock.

That's not a terrible deal, but not the greatest either, considering the age of the parts, AND the sellers....

If I were building a low-mid-range rig, it would be OK, but I would look elsewhere for a similar deal though, as I refuse to buy anything from that place :D

4800 MT memory is low for intel, 6000 is mid tier, nothing wrong with it.
Also an i5 12600K is a good gaming CPU, it's even better than an AMD 5800x3D

just don't pair it with the latest high-end GPU.
I don't know much about that motherboard.
If you're on a budget, it's not a bad deal imo.

Benchmark Scores They suck.
For $363.98 (Combo price of $408.98 - $45 promo code) that's going to be a hard to beat deal. Going 13600k is going to give you 7% more according to the 1080p chart that @P4-630 posted.

The 13600k is $300 on its own.

This stuff is only going to get cheaper once 14th gen parts are released shortly. Just wait and get newest generation, or discounted older parts.

Well this seems like the way to go but it's not available anymore

I'm gonna check out the release date and wait then. I'm not in a hurry lol. I want the best bang for my bucks.
