Hey,

Got a Lenovo Legion, the 7i with 13900HX. Using the default performance power plan. Plugged into AC power. But for some reason, I can't get any decent scores on CB R23. Changing the custom performance power plan to max right sliders for more power still won't push the CPU package over 44W in a CB run.

What's going on? All my core clocks hit like 1400- 1500 Mhz, cpu package power doesn't go over 44w, temp is low 50s and fans are barely spinning. It says it is in performance mode, and indeed if I launch TW3 suddenly it has no issue pulling 80W on the CPU. But it seems like it doesn't want to run CB R23 in performance mode.

Check the priority that has been set for CB R23 under the Details tab in Task Manager. On my system (see graphic below) it is set to Below normal by default. Try setting it to High.

Odd.. So you set it to performance mode in Lenovo Vantage software?
I have the 7i with the same CPU and 4080, sounds like yours is set to "quiet" mode in vantage.

Mine hits a bit over 30K in performance mode.

Well, I figured it out.

I tried Pressing on's priority, and sure enough it helped, but it was still maxing 60w and sub 2k all core clocks. So I turned dGPU only mode off, which I forgot I had left on so I could adjust some OSD settings, and went back to automatic display switching. Now I'm getting 160w boosts and 30.5k multicore.

Not sure why dGPU only mode would limit CPU power so heavily but that appears to be what was doing it

Yeah that's strange, mine's almost always in dGPU only mode.

Well, now it's messed up again. I have no idea wtf is going on. It's a new laptop, too. What's also confusing is now, running timespy, GPU will only clock to 1k. No FPS caps, g sync off, etc. im lost
