Any low end boards to test and less fashionable vendors? As ir_cow has suggested to me in the past he thinks that clock walls on memory might be due to poor boards.

Doesnt need to be a full on bench test process, just maybe stick hardware on some budget board, see if it fights you when trying to boot and then maybe short 10 minute ram test or something. As usually if something is unstable it will get errors that quickly.

I don't think so, just better binned. Center of the wafer gets you a 13900KS. Still roll of the dice what the quality will be. MB helps too.
