Kingwin is a company located in the U.S. with presence only in this region. Their product's portfolio includes many noteworthy PSUs with the flagship being the Lazer Platinum Series which consists of five units with Platinum efficiency and top notch performance. In today's review we will test the strongest member of this series, the LZP-1000 which like all LZPs is built by Super Flower, a company that continues to amaze us with their products.

Is the 5 year warranty normal for PSU these days?

... another good read thanks again.

Most high-end units nowadays have 5 years except from some that have even more (7).

My Seasonic 1000-Watt came with a 7-year, however my Corsair 800-watt has a 3-year, but I wouldn't really consider the 800GS a high-end unit.

The Kingwin looks good, but I've typically seen 125-watts on the 3.3v + 5.0v instead of 100-watt and I normally see 15-watt instead of 12.5-watt on the 5.0Vsb. That is also one big 12v rail. I would love to see how it actually performs, because its price point for what it is definitely intrigues me.
