Whats your views/opinions on 1GB (2x 512mb) DDR400 @ 1T 'Versus' 2GB (4x 512mb) DDR333 @ 2T in respects to everyday Windows operation and gaming?
 
windows only needs 1gb but 2gb would help multitasking
gaming needs 2gb but the slow speeds and 2t would make frames drop lower then the gain you would get from the extra ram.
 
The only games I know that I absolutely need 2 GB are Half Life: Episode One, Oblivion, and maybe Fear for performance. The rest can be had with 1GB safely (that I know of).

2T sucks and DDR333 sux also... Stick with 1GB DDR400 1T is my opinion. If you absolutely need 2GB? the entry fee is a solid 200$.
