Just as the title states.

Here is a link to a review on the cards:
http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/storage/display/promise-supertrak-ex8650.html

They are new open box, were bought for a server project that was abandoned.
They were tested and boot fine into bios, so the cards run fine.

Retail for around $350

Asking $285 shipped OBO each 2 available!

Willing to negotiate reasonable offers, NO trades.

bump $200 shipped each!

if i have to ask what these are for then apprarently theyre not for me.. but what are they for??

hmmm, i normally use adaptec but this is getting more and more tempting.

SAS controllers are tru hardware implementations for RAID arrays. meaning you set it up and install drives on it, and then when you get into your OS it looks like one drive. its a faster, more reliable, OS independent version of the onboard sata controller on most drives.

with other features like SAS drive support.

bump for good cards and good deal.

Yes precisely. If you are interested pm me, I think I can make it too tempting, I need these sold! Again they are brand new, only installed to make sure they worked correctly. :D

Bump. If I wasn't getting a "Ball and Chain" type of ring for my girlfriend then I'd snag one of these up from you.
