SilverStone may have solved the single biggest hiccup for compact gaming PC builders, that of quality, high-wattage PSUs in the SFX form-factor, to drive high-end graphics cards, with the SX600-G power supply. Built in the SFX form-factor, this unit can supply 600 Watts of power, letting you drive high-end graphics cards, 2-way multi-GPU configurations using performance-segment ones, and perhaps even gluttonous ones such as the GTX TITAN-Z (NVIDIA rates its typical power consumption at 375W). The unit features a single 50A +12V rail design, and boasts of 80 Plus Gold efficiency rating. Other features include active PFC, and most common protection mechanisms. The best part? It features 100% modular cabling, so you can keep out cables you don't need from your compact build.

Nice. Their 450w model could handle pretty a fairly high-end CPU/GPU setup, but this allows for that little extra, especially for NCASE N1 owners.

Gold rating, fully modular, and small sound pretty impressive.

That would be a pretty awesome combo!

We have known they were releasing a 600W SFX for a while now, what we want to know is when will we be able to buy it!

:D.....wow what a great time to be had for itx pc builders

Impressive getting 600w, modular in such a small space.
780 ti + itx ?
:rockout:

the moment its on egg, ama or tiger i'm snapping one up.

My 450w SFX is still going strong to this day... not that I use it a lot anymore though. :(

We can already power up an Nvidia GTX 780Ti + Intel i7 4770K + Asus Maxiums Impact VI ITX build with Silverstone's ST45SFG 400 Watt Modular PSU. This new SX600 G will let us Overclock the CPU AND GPU now! :D

Old news.... same mockup 450w SFX with a bad 600w sticker on it.
Wonder when Silverstone actually will release the finished product.

I'm just wondering about the internal quality, caps etc.

If it has 100% Japanese caps then this would be a damn great product for mITX builders.

I dont like to let my expenisve components to be powered from a sfx powersupply.

You cant put quality and reliable components in a such small space.
