Zalman has been making value-oriented keyboards for some time now. The ZM-K700M is their first attempt at a high-end keyboard. It is completely driverless and manages to offer extensive lighting effects and macro support, but is that enough to justify a $140 price tag?

There are a lot of better options out there with lower price, and even some RGB keyboards with wider selection of keys around the same price point. Make it sell for $90 and it may make sense.

Do you have any suggestions? I ran across a Newegg special for one of the RGB boards and it looked awesome at $74.

The corsair strafe RGB with genuine cherry MX red switches is currently on sale on Amazon for $110, which is a steal. If you hate reds, currently the cherry MX brown is at its regulator price of $150. You can also opt for the non-rgb (red led) version ($90). Or you can go with the corsair k70 which is more expensive but you get dedicated media keys and an aluminum face plate. Cooler Master also has some good keyboards and they recently announced their rgb offering. In any case, I recommend you stick with keyboards using cherry MX switches.

Looks like this keyboard have same lifter as new Deck Hassium/Francium Pro, revision with rubber on feets.
I looked now on my keyboard now and I think they are absolutely same.
