Intel HD Graphics 350 outperforming AMD Radeon R7 350X on Unigine Heaven benchmark?

I have a new Dell Optiplex running i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 16gb RAM, Windows 10 x64 with an AMD Radeon R7 350X (4gb). I haven't been too impressed with the GPU's performance, so I ran the Unigine Heaven 4.0 test for both Direct3D and OpenGL, for both "Basic" and "Extreme" test cases. I can't finding scores online for my exact hardware configuration, so ran it against the motherboards Intel HD Graphics 350. The results are tabulated below. The Intel hardware outperformed the AMD hardware at "Basic" loads, and came pretty darn close to AMD at "Extreme" loads.

Below are screen grabs of my summary table and hardware config. Does this seem about right, or is there possibly an issue affecting my GPU? (My drivers are all up to date.)

I wouldn't be surprised if the results look like this. An Intel HD Graphics 2000 (2011) from Sandy Bridge beats a (then) mid-range GeForce 8500 GT (2007). The iGPU's just keep getting better, Skylake's iGPU is pretty impressive by my standards even though there are more powerful iGPU's out there.

I like that iGPU's are there but lately there are no CPU variants from Intel that don't feature the iGPU, that extra space could have been used for more consumer level cores. Going back to 84-95W TDP range wouldn't be so bad.

350X is just a iGP replacement. Get a card that is a little more serious

That radeon is heavily bottlenecked by bandwidth - 32gb/s is just bad. The usual problem with cheap Gpus. 128bit gddr3. He's right it's like a igpu with that bandwidth.

It's a 30 watt card. As @eidairaman1 said, an integrated GPU replacement. It's not meant to do any more and basic 2D work.

Yeah, that's what Skylake has.

I tried using an HD 530 for a while and it's atrocious. I ended up getting an R7 360 (100w)--a respectable card. There's a huge performance gap between R7 350X and R7 360 (as noted by the wattage jump).

Thats about it what you can play.

Yeah at 8.6 he is crawling. My vaporx 290 1030/1400 runs those at about 75-85FPS with details maxed out.
