Silicon Power Launches First DDR4 RGB for Gamers - XPOWER Turbine

Silicon Power today announced that they're entering the gaming market with a special set of DDR4 memory modules that cater to everything enthusiasts want. This strategy will go on well into 2019 with a smattering of products across SP's line of products, while allowing the company to enter new markets where they previously didn't compete.

The first step on this road is the announcement and release of the new XPOWER Turbine DDR4 kit with RGB lighting (supporting ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync, and ASROCK-Polychrome Sync), maxing out at speeds of 4133 MHz with 1.4 V. Backed by a lifetime warranty and with all modules being 100% tested, according to the company.

Given that the article states "they're entering the gaming market", I'm guessing it's their first "gaming RGB DDR4".

That is a worthwhile clarification, even if I'm being ever so slightly pedantic right now

Still, I guess with dual RAM kits one should always have this playing when looking into the case.

Isn't that what it all about ? .... tweens impressing their friends .... giant heat sinks, logos, teeth, fins, silkscreen logos , RGB .... as if any one of those increases performance.
