Silicon Power today announced that they're entering the gaming market with a special set of DDR4 memory modules that cater to everything enthusiasts want. This strategy will go on well into 2019 with a smattering of products across SP's line of products, while allowing the company to enter new markets where they previously didn't compete.

The first step on this road is the announcement and release of the new XPOWER Turbine DDR4 kit with RGB lighting (supporting ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync, and ASROCK-Polychrome Sync), maxing out at speeds of 4133 MHz with 1.4 V. Backed by a lifetime warranty and with all modules being 100% tested, according to the company.

XPOWER Turbine RGB DDR4 Features:
  • Authentic and high-quality SP memory module combining high gaming performance with colorful RGB display
  • High speeds (3200/3600/4133 MHz) with almost no lag time allow maximum DDR4 performance
  • 100% tested for stability, durability, and compatibility on major motherboard brands
  • Dynamic thermal heatsink mechanism to prevent overheating
  • Supports Intel Extreme Memory Profile (Intel XMP) Standards
  • Supports ASUS Aura Sync / GIGABYTE RGB Fusion / MSI Mystic Light Sync / ASROCK-Polychrome Sync
  • Up to 10-layer PCBs to ensure stability and reliability
  • 4133 MHz QVL: MSI X299 GAMING PRO CARBON AC+ i7-7800X, GA Z370 AORUS GAMING 7 + i7-8700K"
  • Low voltage of 1.4V for less power consumption

I guess that a typical games who isn't into tech, doesn't even know what they mean. Could even think that the higher CL is better.

Wait, so all that other RGB DDR4 isn't for gamers? Who is it for, then? Rainbow enthusiasts?
Given that the article states "they're entering the gaming market", I'm guessing it's their first "gaming RGB DDR4".

That is a worthwhile clarification, even if I'm being ever so slightly pedantic right now :p

Still, I guess with dual RAM kits one should always have this playing when looking into the case.

What's wrong with you people ? .... It's says GAMING right on it ! ! ! :) Isn't that what it all about ? .... tweens impressing their friends .... giant heat sinks, logos, teeth, fins, silkscreen logos , RGB .... as if any one of those increases performance.
