ROCCAT's Kain line debuts with two medium-sized, right-handed ergonomic mice of which the Kain 120 is the more premium one. It's a fantastic gaming mouse, featuring ROCCAT's signature AIMO lighting, an all-new Owl-Eye 16K sensor, a freshly patented main button mechanism and much more, while staying relatively lightweight.

Thanks for the review, looks like a good mouse.
I may have missed it but I don't think you mentioned it having or not an onboard memory.

I don't understand how big the market is for mice with only two sidebuttons. How hard is it to get a couple more, and make the mouse infinitely more useful. I miss my logitech G700

Most people actually don't need more, but there are quite a number of viable options for your needs.

It has! I really didn't mention it, thanks for noticing! I will update the review with pics of the software once it comes out. :)

Thanks @Vanir, and please do. I will be interested in seeing how things like DPI profiling work on this mouse, and how much can be saved to it's onboard memory and so forth.

There is, but most of them have the "keypad" layout and that is very unergonomic for me personally (with big hands)
Personally I would like to see an updated G700 with better battery. The 4 sidebuttons, don't really take any more space than all the ones with 2, but is very helpful and the buttons are very nice to press.

Currently using the Steelseries Rival 500 which is damn near perfect, but I'm missing wireless, and I just can't stand the steelseries software ( is messes up my Arctis Pro headset)

The mouse drops around September, it will be a while I guess.
Excited to see the Kain 200 wireless, too.
