any one know of a good monitor or other forum that can help?

Here is my minimum requirements:

27"
1
1440/2k at least
1
IPS
Display HDR 500
1
color bit depth 10bit
1
color gamut sRGB over 100%?
1
width of image
1
default resolution
1
ppi over 110?
1

samsung apparently has no monitors that have what is listed here; mainly no info on bit depth unless 8 bit with frc which i don't want, and hdr only goes to 400, also not good

If you do post over at tftcentral, I suggest you mention a BUDGET for this monitor, something you chose not to do here.

You may also want to specify your primary usage case(s) although since this is a Mac mini, I'm guessing gaming would not be the primary activity. And yes, I've owned Mac minis since 2010.

That said, take a look at LG's various monitor offerings. I'm using a 27UL850W (4K@60Hz) with my Mac mini M2 Pro. I don't know if it fulfills all of your requirements, I don't memorize monitor specs. There's a newer model anyhow with slightly different specs; mine is 5+ years old.

My Mac is primarily used for desktop productivity and some multimedia stuff. I don't game on it nor do I watch movies/videos. There's a 55" LG C2 OLED television (4K@120Hz) in front of my couch that's better suited for those activities.

Best of luck.
