Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition: FSR 2.0 Community Patch

Some people have reported the mod have been tweaked to provide something like DLAA with FSR 2.0 in this game. would be interesting to see

Definitely a mod necessary for this game.

Looks like DLSS has some problems with the objects on the scaffolding. :wtf: Loads of objects missing.

other than that the reflection on DLSS looks way better, esp. the gun model, player model, water & ice.

Btw. didn't know you can zoom in with the mouse wheel, lol. Very handy.

it has some issues TAA and DLSS 2.4 do not .... excessive ghosting on NPCs and enemy creatures at medium and far distances and player weapon while moving quickly, on weapon scopes in particular. We also found shimmering issues on steel objects at lower resolutions, such as 1080p, and black trails on power lines while moving. In some scenarios, it may even look like smearing, which most people will find quite distracting.... Just like in other games we tested, the FSR 2.0 mod conflicts with in-game motion blur, creating black borders around the image as if squinting..

Compared to DLSS 2.4, FSR 2.0 provides a similar level of image quality if we exclude the few issues described earlier
So it has some really bad issues, but if you ignore them it's similar, ok.

Might just be better to stick with developer inclusions rather than doing mod reviews.

Any thoughts how to make that more obvious? or maybe add some +- zoom buttons?

Edit: the buttons have been added

I haven't watched it in motion or used fsr2 mods but if all the writing about excessive ghosting is true in every game then it's not worth it I don't personally believe.
DLSS had the same problem but it's getting much better.

The ghosting is far less problematic using FSR 2.0 native than using the mod. I think the mod is nice to have and a workaround but i am not sure i would do a playthrough using it unless it improve.

It's just a wrapper that replace imput and output sent to the DLSS dll by FSR 2.0 stuff and it's still early. I am not sure if FSR 2.0 need additional or different information or not. but it's really in alpha/beta state right now.

Not sure if it can get close to be really ready.

That's great. :rockout:I didn't know you could zoom in, tried to scroll with the wheel over the picture & was wondering what just happened, lol.

Weird. now I have the feeling that the FSR 2.0 has more blur than the DLSS. All in all you need to adjust the settings manually to make the best for you otherwise you may not be satisfied
