Hi,
I'm having a problem when I try to power on my PC. During the boot, it starts to beep 3 times, PAUSE, 3 times, PAUSE and so on.. and suddenly between one PAUSE and another it POSTs telling me that system failed to boot several times and then loads up the operating system normally. I have an Asrock Z87M Pro4, and I found that 3 beeps mean an error in the first 64 KB block of memory. Knowing that I ran a couple of memtest but surprisingly it gave me no errors. So what I tried next was to switch the 2x4GB sticks from one slot to another but nothing changed. As a final result I put my RAM in another PC and it booted without any problem, so I did the reverse, I put a stick from the other PC in mine and it didn't boot. Now, this is clearly a motherboard issue, but I just wanted a solid confirmation from someone more experienced than me, maybe there is something I haven't tried yet. Thanks!

try each stick in each slot, and see if it boots up, that will tell if its either a problem with any of your sticks, or is indeed a problem with one of the slots on your motherboard.
