With the P900, HP is finally releasing a USB 3.2 2x2 20 Gbps capable portable SSD. In our review we can confirm that the speeds are good, reaching well over 1 GB/s, even at lower queue depths. Thanks to an all-metal shell, the drive is very durable and the matte black paint job is resistant to fingerprints.

Crucial question.

Is it better than Samsung T7? Because that thing is pretty popular around here. And the price ain't that far off.

This sustained speed look a bit low

The first ~third is well over 1GB/s, so the 177MB/s average seems a bit low to me.

I would pick the Samsung, also the T9 is in the corner if you are not in a hurry!

Not sure. During long vacations you actually make materials to make your own videos, including questionable ones.

I missed that T9 is around the corner. First USB4 maybe?
