CHERRY, the manufacturer known for its high-quality input devices, presents the new KW 7100 MINI BT FOR MAC, the compact Bluetooth multi-device keyboard for Mac users. The innovative keyboard was initially released exclusively for Windows last year and is now being expanded to include a Mac version. It combines outstanding performance with a modern design and offers Mac users a user-friendly input option.

Highlight features of the KW 7100 MINI BT FOR MAC include integrated media keys, three channels for linking to other Mac devices via Bluetooth and effortless switching between these three connected devices. The low profile and comfortable, quiet keys ensure a comfortable and efficient typing experience. With its slim, space-saving design, it appeals particularly to Mac users who are looking for both functionality and design.

Innovative functions and sustainability
The FN buttons on the KW 7100 MINI BT and KW 7100 MINI BT FOR MAC not only control Bluetooth channels and volume control, but also multimedia functions such as play, pause, and track selection. Status LEDs provide information about low battery level, activated turn-up and FN lock button as well as the current Bluetooth channel. With an integrated metal plate, the compact keyboard guarantees maximum stability. The height can also be customized using adjustable feet.

To minimize environmental impact, the keyboard comes in an eco-friendly paper packaging, while the included carrying case is made from recycled plastic for on-the-go convenience.

CHERRY SX scissor mechanism: Precision for a unique writing experience
The keyboard is equipped with the innovative CHERRY SX scissor mechanism, which ensures maximum precision when typing. The concave, quiet keys offer a smooth and fatigue-free typing experience. With a guarantee of more than 10 million keystrokes per key, the keyboard is particularly durable. The use of lasered key labelling also ensures the highest possible abrasion resistance.

This is not a true Mac Keyboard, it's a PC keyboard with "all new" key caps. A true mac layout has different bottom row key positions, most importantly, the right edges of the <Cmd> key and <x> key are aligned- this allows for a very natural use of the thumb to press <Cmd> instead of using your <Ctrl> pinky (like an animal) to, for example, copy and paste.

Haha, "like an animal". :D
But I do agree the Cmd button for keyboard combos feels more naturally located than the Ctrl key.

But I see that alignment of the left Cmd key and X not always is a thing on keyboards that are supposed to be aimed at MacOS users. I don't see that on all Logitech's Mac keyboards (but some) nor on the keyboards from Keychron. Interesting...

I'm glad i could make someone laugh today :p

Interestingly, I've looked at many keychron boards, and the one that I wanted but haven't "pulled the lever on" (yet) was the Alice Q10 Max, specifically because of the placement of the command key, and with the exception of the Feker Alice98, every other Alice layout I've seen is the Feker Alice80.

Yes, logitech makes a few, like the MX Keys, as a nice alternative to the Apple Magic Keyboard, but the peripheral market is really lacking in this category. I understand why, but I feel like there is a void in the custom KBD community that needs to be filled- perhaps some sort of multi-socketed PCB to allow for alternative bottom row placement and a smaller spacebar- I can't be alone in this.

I'm a software developer and MacOS is my preferred OS to work in (from a stability, security, accessibility, and productivity standpoint).

I'm a gamer too though, so yes I have a windows PC for that, but (in my humble opinion) that's virtually it's only marketable feature for consumers- obligatory meme

Sounds very much like me, except that I'm not developing much but more into IT support and management.

It has always been OS X/MacOS that has been the focus in the business I've been in. Also have a Windows machine at home for gaming, and while I think Windows does a couple of things better (the built-in window management for example, but there is always Rectange etc. for that on MacOS) I do agree think MacOS is the nicer OS overall for when it comes to so called productivity.

Really funny meme! :D

I don't really see the problem. Every single key is freely programmable on that Keychron, you can put that Cmd wherever you want.
