The Audeze MM-500 is a debuting entry from a new product line of open-back planar magnetic headphones designed with the working professional in mind. Developed in collaboration with renowned mixing artist Manny Marroquin, the MM-500 offers highly detailed and accurate playback paired with excellent build quality too.

Thanks for the review. I enjoy the build quality of Audeze and Focal. :toast:

Not bad. And I see that Audeze finally figured out the whole “headphone with a reasonable weight” thing.

@theglaze
It trains you. Pain is making you stronger. Soon, you will be able to break marble with your head. Khorne smiles upon you.

Almost 500g, I thought that was on the heavy side!!

Nice to see something made on this side of the globe though.

As for the clamp force, I've been slowly stretching out my Senn HD6xx now for 6 months on progressively larger boxes. Hopefully in another 2 months they will be ready for use lol

1500 isn't that "expensive" for Audeze and it's a great company. Though small soundstage is odd for open backed cans.

Agreed.

I actually sold off ALL my CiFi stuff recently. I'm out of that. It's fun to try. It's a great deal. But the build quality and the rest doesn't stack up.
