The X600 "chipset" is like X300, so the CPU's SOC itself is the chipset?

Does look like they are doing something unusual with it. Might be more accurate to call this an I/O breakout board, but then that is also what the chip"set" on a regular motherboard do since some time ago. Would any AM5 processor work?

Looks like the kind of thing that ends up in kiosks, with something like a 8500G, under an off-the-shelf heatsink.

No USB4. Which, IIRC some of their other SFF PCs w/ x600 have...

This was on most other news sites about a month ago. Still no info if and where it will be available.

I would like to use it to build a low-idle power homeserver, still its sad that asrock went cheap on the NIC, but there are Intel NICs in M.2. format, so this wont be a problem.

EDIT:
TPU had it a month ago too: https://www.techpowerup.com/324975/...-thin-mini-itx-motherboard-for-amd-zen-5-cpus
Why again now? Is it finally available anywhere?

Remove the useless audio & add a second 2.5Gbit LAN Asrock, I'll buy 5.

This is the official press release from AsRock. The previous article was when people spotted the product on AsRock's website. I imagine its availability will the exact same as their previous thin MITX boards, meaning you'll have to go through some Chinese sales portals to acquire.
