The Montech XR Wood takes the same frame as the original XR but re-imagines it as a classic mid-tower. This basis gives it an extremely solid and competitive foundation. Montech has made sure to take advantage of that, designing the XR Wood to be even more intriguing.

Apart from the naming and okay case :)

I actually dont like the wood on this case. It looks like they put it on there just to say 'look, we have a case with wood too'. RGB lighting does not help that too. I think wood with solid colors (or no lights) looks much more classy. But with only this much wood, that's not really happening either way.

Apart from that, it's really good case for its price. Amazing actually.

Yeah, pretty solid case for the money but the wood is just dumb - it's the opposite of RGBLED, and more importantly if I made a small adhesive sticker out of the thinnest wood veneer and stuck it on the front of my PC, I don't think that's enough to qualify as a "wood" edition.

What wood, the nameplate? Why even name the case wood?

Agree with everyone here.

This case look like a cheap cooler master/Lian Li.
God i hate this style of Chinese design, looks like nothing...
The wood is...ugly too ? It's really random.
And the case itself make a lot of noise i compared to some others like, the H5 Flow 2024 already make a lot of noise (even with NF-A12X25) so this one seems horrible, anyway never understand the point of these type of case, it's giant, ugly, noisy and look like nothing but Chinese random case.

I was going to complain that Montech needs to stick to more core products and not get fancy with the wood accents and such. But then I saw the pricing... Even after tariffs. They are very aggressive.

What's the character in your PFP from? Reminds me of Felix the Cat

I upgraded my h210 to Moctech sky 2 GX and I love it for the 2x 360mm support upon awaiting for a 360mm 5090. Lol.

That looks great and part of the reason for that is that it's not a mismatched combo of RGBLED and wood.

I set up the rgb to match the cpu temps in the MSI controller 50 degrees or lower has it on green, blue for 50 to 90 and red for higher. It's more useful then random lights imo.
