ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the ROG Strix GS-BE18000, a high-performance gaming router designed to deliver blazing-fast wired and wireless connections for serious gamers and network enthusiasts. The ROG Strix GS-BE18000 boasts up to 20G of wired capacity with two dedicated gaming ports and tri-band WiFi 7 throughput of up to 18000 Mbps with enhanced 320 MHz channels. It delivers tri-band Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and 4K-QAM modulation for lightning-fast speed and capacity.

Unleashing the power within
The ROG Strix GS-BE18000 is meticulously crafted for uncompromising network performance. It features a high-performance 2.0 GHz quad-core CPU with robust cooling to ensure smooth operation under heavy loads. This compact powerhouse boasts eight internal antennas with six cutting-edge copper tubes and powered by independent Front-End Modules (FEMs) covering up to 3,300 square feet, eliminating dead zones and helping to ensure a seamless gaming experience throughout the home.

Instant online game acceleration for victory
The ROG Strix GS-BE18000 gaming router is designed to deliver an exceptional gaming experience with its dual dedicated 2.5G gaming ports, each automatically prioritizing gaming traffic from connected devices without the need for manual configuration. The ROG Strix GS-BE18000 leverages Smart Home Master technology and convenient SSIDs to provide hassle-free one-tap game acceleration for multiple gaming devices. This combination ensures optimal performance, providing gamers with a seamless, low-latency connection. Additionally, the ROG Strix GS-BE18000 features Aura RGB lighting on an iridescent ROG logo, enhancing the gaming experience and adding to the aesthetics of a gamer setup. Even when the lights are off, this design still commands attention.

Smart Home Master
The ROG Strix GS-BE18000 also goes beyond just gaming—it also simplifies network management for modern smart homes, via the intuitive ASUS Router mobile app or web interface. ASUS-exclusive Smart Home Master technology allows for instant connections with customized SSIDs, enabling better WiFi 7 compatibility, efficient network management and enhanced protection of smart home IoT devices or a dedicated network for kids. The MLO Network allows users to seamlessly connect MLO-supporting devices to a dedicated SSID, simplifying setup and management. This innovative subnet ensures compatibility, minimizes interference and enhances network performance. VPN support can also provide a secure connection free of regional gaming or streaming restrictions. And for robust security, the ROG Strix GS-BE18000 offers commercial-grade Triple-Level Network Security with AiProtection Pro, one-tap Security Scan and Safe Browsing, helping to protect smart homes from online threats.

I mean it's for "PC Gamers" it's going to be trash. Get out of the gaming space and go buy some real stuff and a small rack and put it in there. Move rack under desk and problem solved.

This type of marketing should be illegal, they shouldn't be allowed to add up the bandwidth of every frequency and channel and then advertise that......here's a fun challenge, go "shopping" for some wireless routers and see if you can easily find out what is the maximum bandwidth achievable by a SINGLE USER.....you know, the speeds you would ACTUALLY see....it's extremely difficult, down to the point where it is even difficult to find that information when reading reviews!!!

20 Gbps switching capability is ok to mention, but not like that. As for the WiFi speeds, well, it's been going on for ages.
Most consumer devices are 2x2, so yeah, you'll never get close to those numbers.
