Hey, i know benchmarks don't always acurately reflect the true performance of a computer, but i've been testing my rig out and finding that computers with almost the same parts perform much better than mine. I just ran a pcmark test and scored 5412, whereas a computer on the site scored 7210 and had practically the same computer as mine. I don't know what it is. i'm including a comprehensive system detail so that maybe you can tell me what i'm doing wrong

Athlon 64 rev. e 3500 venice @ 2.65ghz 295x9

Might be those loose ass timings. Why don't you try lowering the FSB a bit, and increasing the multiplier, and tightening the timings on the ram. If you wanted to use a 9x multiplier why didn't you get a venice 3000+? If your ram can't handle 221FSB at 2.5CL or lower, run it at the default speeds.

Try that and see what happens.

aha

well i didn't want to use a 9x multi, but my mobo fried, and i ended up with a dfi board that doesn't exactly support hyperx ram at high speeds. so i'm stuck with the 9x multi and the loose as timings, would i get better scores if say i lowered the cpu speed to make way for tighter timings?
