I dont know whats going on but I installed 3Dmark06 and then I opened up the program and its still loading.....still trying to scan my computer for configs....suppose to take at least a minute but its been on for more then 30 anyone have this kind of trouble or what do you recommend I do?

open my puter, c/drive/windows/system32/msc/rename direcpll to anything you want restart 3d06

tried that about 5 times already

Ah, did you clean the registry and check my program folders for anything about 3dmark06 or futuremark?

also be sure you have the latest edition or patch the one you have it it isnt.

open my puter, c/drive/windows/system32/msc/rename direcpll to anything you want restart 3d06 guess you didnt try it or you woulda posted a score by now. This is a futuremark known problem. ALLEN

Yep. 3DMark hangs because it can't read the clocks on the 2900. But a small correction:

Go to C:\Windows\system32\Futuremark\MSC\ and rename direcpll.dll to anything you wish.

Is this true for all 2900xt cards?

yup known issue, should be fixed in the next revision of 3dmark 06

or open the shortcut of the 06 on the desktop and in the target area add -nosysteminfo.

I got it working I dont think I did TOO bad, on 06 but I wish I had a non-SLI board hat may be why it was low dunno...

my score was :7731 for 06

yup your score is right for your rig, mine is 9700 at stock, each mHZ on the cpu helps relieve a bottleneck which is evident as I get 10500 at 3.2GHZ (stock gpu) and 10720 at 3.36GHZ.
