Hello all probably my last time posting and I apologize for continuing to come back but I'm honestly desperate, I upgraded the rig since posting before and I'm still facing the same botched performance. I have taken a lot of screenshots/logs so bare with me specs are
ASUS Tuf 4070ti OC
5800x3d (Hyper 212)
Corsair RMX850
MSI Mag B550 Tomahawk Max Wifi
G Skill Trident Z 2x16gb 3600mhz (Not on QVL list, can this be an issue?)
Kingston NV2
Samsung 980 (non pro)
Corsair 4000D
I've tested R6 Siege, MW2, Doom Eternal, Overwatch 2 and Resident evil 2 remake/RE8 so far and every one of them have a stutter but some are a bit more harsh than others. It looks like my GPU is being gimped by something in my system or the OS itself (not too sure but the gpu usage dropping causes the stuttering)
What I've tried
Clean installed to W10 22h2 and W11 chipsets, ddu/gpu drivers and mobo drivers in that order
Updated bios to latest
Disabled CPPC preferred cores
Disabled/enabled XMP
Tested "gaming mode/quiet mode" switch on gpu
Raised power limit to AB
Reseated all parts and replugged all psu cables
Unplugged rgb/fan hub
force PCIE to Gen 4/3
The only things I haven't replaced in my rig are the ram kit and the mobo itself. Anyone have any similar experiences and any clue to what could be causing this? I'll honestly pay if we can just come up with a clue.. Haha sorry all and thanks for any feedback.
