4790 All core unlock gone wrong

Followed blindly the instructions, modded my stock bios H87N-WIFI Ver 2.0 F9 Bios to the Microcode downgrade, everything went fine till it finished flashing bios, then the nightmare started.

Pc wouldnt post, no video, nothing.

Panicked, did a force boot to backup bios PC acted "normally", did a recover to stock bios "F9", everything OK

Now I turn my PC on, get to Bios Post Screen but then the PC "stalls",and cant do anything.

I'm out of ideas of what to do, forcing boot to bios backup no longer works, i get a black screen and thats it.

Im trying not to cry .... my sole PC for 7 years and have zero money to repair it.

I think you are SOL without physically replacing the BIOS chip. No flashback function on that MB. Seems you have bricked your system with a failed BIOS update.

And with a quick look, looks like that it's not a socketed chip so it needs a soldering job.

OP: have you tried clearing the cmos?

A few things you can try.

Remove/disconnect all components GPU, SSD or HDD even go down to 1 Ram stick.

Try booting your PC with the IGP. If that works then connect the other components back one at a time.

removed everything except ram, monitor on IGP i get to Post Screen, try to enter Bios gets stuck, blinking like its loading then turns off

When i try shorting pins on bios to boot to backup bios i get no video at all.

Try removing the battery for a minute or two when the system is unplugged

Crap. Weird how the backup bios doesn't fix it..

Agreed. I actually left there for here because their quality went down so far. I've loved it here since day one.

As for on topic, OP may have to just get a new board.

Buy a cheap CH341A Bios Flasher and attempt to do it yourself, there's plenty of videos on Youtube such as this example:

I'm pretty sure scalpers aren't going after 2014 motherboards. Maybe socket 1366 or 2011, but 1150 isn't in the books.

Sadly scalping has increasing pricing on used parts, my suggestion was look for a used cheap replacement and hope you get lucky.

I cant pay 200+ USD for a 1150 board (the one I have was 80USD New) , its just not possible, I bought the ch341a at 22USD cheapest option (just to give u guys an idea of prices here)
