505 Games Apologizes for Messy Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Launch

If people think this is bad, crisis did exist.
One game running poorly in the past does not excuse another game doing the same, especially since graphic fidelity in modern gaming has plateaued. These games do not look good enough to justify their poor performance and absurd resource usage. Crysis on the other hand was ahead of its time.

Saying that Crysis was "one game running poorly" in the past just shows that you're totally out of your depth here. The second part is also a total projection, since I bet you have no clue whether these games really go over the top regarding resources and performance. Then there's a little fact taht it;s a small studio with a first product, so they should be actually applauded for releasing the game with so little problems. But, ah, in order to know that there are very little issues you'd have to actually play the game first and not just go with the flow or watch some youtubers cherrypicked and exaggerated "moments" video.

This is a statement that has no purpose other than to defend a company. It speaks to the reader clearly that the author is lacking objectivity and impartiality.
Translation: I can't rebuke somebody who actually played the game, reports facts, and offers an opinion that doesn't go along with my hysterical take, so I will use an ad hominem and accuse him of shilling for the company. Well done, bud, give yourself a pat on the back :)

That's aside from the fact how little sense it makes: first, I'm not sure exactly what interest would I have in doing so, since they’re a totally unknown entity, and so hardly prone to fanboyism. And secondly, why would it be wrong to "defend the company" if a situation warrants that? And coming from a person who sees red anytime somebody dares to even slightly criticize a CDPR game, it's somewhat hypocritical too.

-----------------------------

The upshot here is the fact that this kind of uninformed herd-trolling has little effect on the game's sales. It’s just a pity that people from a dedicated tech forum, who call themselves “enthusiasts” and really should know much better how things work in the real world, are only too happy to join the hatin' bandwagon. It’s also extremely selective. Case in point: Avowed has terrible performance vs looks (which are about a generation behind Wuchang), but since Obsidian is a sacred cow, not many are willing to say much about that.

I think our conversation has reached the end, enjoy your game.

Um... one moment..
It's one thing to have some glitches like GTAV, No Mans Sky, Fallout 4, CyberPunk and BlackMyth Wukong.
You were saying what now? Maybe you should take time to pay attention to context before spouting gibberish.

Just stop.

One game running poorly in the past does not excuse another game doing the same, especially since graphic fidelity in modern gaming has plateaued.
There's also the fact that Crysis ran poorly not because it was poorly optimized, but because people didn't turn down their setting to match their hardware, either because they didn't want too or didn't know how. The later was easily fixed. However, Crysis was a "gotta have it" system selling game. Either people bought new systems to play it or upgraded what they had. Wuchang is not a system seller. I've seen running. System specs are not what's holding it back. It's a poorly optimized game..
