9800se with R360 core !!!!

Hi!
Please, I need your help! I have a Sapphire 9800se, 128 bits, 128Mb. I have modded it and now, I have 8 correct pipelines. Clocks: 380 core and 315 (630 DDR) for VRAM.
I have ramdom frezes, crashes (with differents clocks).. then, I put a new Zalman VF700 because I thought could be a heat problem.
Replacing the cooler, i found a R360 core!!! But PCB is 128 bits model and I think is not a good idea to do a hardmod, really?
What can I do then? Do you think changing timmings or flashing bios will I stop frezees ?

Whats the specs of your computer, and what do you get the crashes in? Like is a certain game, or everything in general? Also, do you get errors in Atitool with a scan?

Hi!

Basically, in each game, is different. For example, in FarCry, sometimes, I have corrupt textures, sometimes, the game crashes, sometimes freezes... My PSU is Agiler 400 W (+12 = 18A). I have a A64 3000+ (oc 2150). In windows desktop, allways is all ok.

Do you ever get blocks on your screen? And do you get errors in Atitool?

Hi!

In AtiTool, never have errors. In Doom 3, all is ok. But I have notices a thing... with DXDIAG... in Directx7 test, I have these texture problems... not in D8 or D9.

I don´t know exactly what I did, but the problem is resolved. I have change AGP APERTURE size (low value seems to be better), texture´s quality (high, seems to be better).. but now, textures are correct. I´m very very confused with Ati´s gpu. I use Omega last version (5.9 catalyst based). Could be, next day, next month... I will have another time these errors.... I ´m sure about which will be my next graphics card.... (Nvidia, let´s go!)

You should get a decent PSU too, even if the problem seems fixed now.

Can ANYONE HELP ME ON HOW TO FLASH THE BIOS FOR A Saphire Advantage 128 MB Memory 9800SE? I get the message
NEWBIOS not found. at start up when i try to flash the card with a floppy disk using ATIFLASH 309.
