Hello everyone,

I’m building my first SFF PC. So far, I bought the case, PSU, motherboard, AIO, and CPU. Now I’m looking for RAM kits, but after arguing with GPT, I still haven’t reached a conclusion and I’m confused.

These are the parts that I’ve been planning to get or already have:
ROG B850i
ROG Loki 1000W
Ryzen 9 9900X
RTX 5080
Corsair H100i Elite

For the RAM, from the start I was going to buy KLEVV 64 GB 6400 CL32, but just when I was about to buy it, the price increased, so I asked GPT if there are any more compatible kits out there. It suggested Fury Beast 64 GB 6000 CL30 and said that this is one of the most compatible kits for the system. Then the same thing happened again—when I was just buying it, the price increased.
So now I’m in the same position, searching for RAM kits. Finally, prices are OK; for now, KLEVV 6400 CL32 is cheaper than Fury Beast, Corsair Vengeance & Dominator. These are all of the models that GPT suggested.

GPT defends that 6000 CL30 is the most compatible kit; 6400 CL32 is also compatible but not as good as 6000 CL30. It said if I get the KLEVV one I could make it 6000 CL30 with some BIOS settings. I don’t really know how to do that and don’t want instability.

I know it got so long and I’m really sorry for your time.

I was really curious about when the build is done how it is going to look, so I built the system with the parts I have. Here’s the current state. I hope you like it and I’m open to any suggestions you guys have.

Thank you!

Do You check with motherboard vendor compatibility with ram? https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b850-i-gaming-wifi/helpdesk_qvl_memory/
and before You buy something try to clear cookies, and cache, some vendors are shitheads that more You look for that specific item the higher is the price, do You have something that is comparing from different sites price of item? sometimes going from that site can be working better, than from google. (I don't know if it will work in Your country, but in Poland I've seen that from google price was 10% higher than from price comparison site. )

Thank you for sharing the link—I was completely unaware of that. I checked the vendor list and didn’t see any KLEVV kits, but KLEVV themselves claim “QVL tested & approved,” which I don’t fully understand.

Also, thanks for the price advice. I’m comparing prices directly on the sellers’ websites and using a price‑comparison site.

I live in Istanbul, Türkiye. Whenever I’m about to buy a PC, the government says “Where’s mine?”, which is really annoying, but there’s not much I can do.

I think I’m going to take the risk and go with the KLEVV, but I'm still confused, and GPT hasn’t been much help either. I’d really appreciate your guidance—thank you!

Here some of the kit prices;

KLEVV 6400 CL32 -- 9.999 TL -- 254,56 USD
Kingston Beast Black 6000 CL30 -- 10.044 TL -- 255,70 USD
Kingston Beast 6000 CL30 -- 10.428 TL -- 265,48 USD
Corsair Vengeance 6000 CL30 -- 11.443 TL -- 291,09 USD
Corsair Dominator Titanium 6000 CL30 -- 14.239 TL-- 362,50 USD

Im running that same Klevv kit 64GB -- it's really good for the B650 i have - im currently running it ddr5 6200 since my imc doesn't love 6400 1:1.

That 6400 kit can always do 6000 CL30-36-36-36 without breaking a sweat - so if you find stability issues just knock it down.

In Poland it's the same, You are buying something we need 23% of that price for us, You are selling something oh You are getting money give us our share -.- everything is taxed.
About ram unfortunately I'm not that great and I can't recommend something ;/
If I understand ram correctly every ddr5 will run on Your computer, but the timings could be not that great if it's not compatible.

Here are infos on ddr5, and their timings and OC

I don’t know why, but I want to get the KLEVV. Sure, it’s not on the QVL list, whereas the other one is definitely tested and listed. The price difference isn’t even that much — KLEVV is 9,999 and the G.Skill is 10,560.

I just can't be completely sure about the Trident Z. I used the DDR4 version of it in my previous build and had no issues at all. It's just a weird feeling, I know. I guess I’ll just flip a coin and decide which one to buy that way.

Thanks a lot. I know that whichever RAM I end up going with, it’ll probably work just fine anyway.
