 Hi guys! This mb, pentium d 930, crucial ballistix ddr2 800, tagan easycon 580w, dont go up fsb 240. Why? At 235x15 (1:1) all fine, voltage default cpu, and 2v for the memory. But over 235 from bios(or windows), crash and restart. Need help for this problem. Thanks!

Hmmmm im really tired but here are a few things to consider.

1.its already clocked pretty high.
2.Your ram cant take it.
3.heat
4.Not enough vcore
5.Not enough vdimm(voltage to the ram)
6.Not enough power to the north bridge.

things to maybe fix the problem.

1.put in a divider so your ram is working on a lower speed.
2.again use a divider.
3make sure nothing is over heating if your heat sink or ram is burning your hand you need to cool it better.
4.raise the vcore voltage a little bit start small .025v but not over by 2 or 3 (watch temps)
5. raise vdimm volts by .1V but not over 2 or 3 (watch temps)
6.raise power to the north bridge in most cases this doesnt help but it actually did with my system.

always watch temps.
and do one thing at a time so if their is a problem you can troubleshoot.

i have a 930,in a asus p5wd2,if its any help here are my settings-

at 4ghz-
270 fsb
1.35 vcore
3:5 mem@450/900@2.3v
at 4.4ghz-
294fsb
1.45vcore
3:5mem@833@2.3v
no increase in chipset voltage at either setting.

my temps are 43-44c at 4ghz idle and 45-50c idle at 4.4ghz.

Thanks guys, but my ram are good, i use liquid cooling light, cpu at 3511 mhz 28°/30° idle 50°/55° full only with 12h of orthos, 38°/40° the mb. With more voltage, or another strap, or setting no result. 240 is a wall.:banghead:
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Abit/AL8/15 The problem for me is here, regulation of pci-e/fsb. This function of bios where is? Is masquerade? Damn... I dont understand... My chipset are the same of asus p5wd2 but the result are very different...
