I bought a 'GeForce GTX 1070 SEA HAWK X' from the USA via a retailer in August 2018, but today I accidentally flashed the bios with a different one, so the driver doesn't recognize this anymore. Driver install error occurs during installation. I searched a lot for my model's original bios but couldn't find them and also MSI support team refused to give me for the company regulations. I needed the bios with a serial number like this "602-V330-07S" (Which is my Model original bios), but in the internet (Softpedia or Techpowerup) I'm getting these "602-V330-49S" .... "602-V330-080" etc... Now the GPU is in this state (See the attached picture plz). So... It's time to get a guide to install the driver with this Device ID Mismatch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.... Thanks in Advance.

If you google for reviews for your card you might find something like

Then you might find a card number like this

MSI-GTX-1070-SEA-HAWK-X-backplate.jpg

Often there is a GPU-Z screenshot, like this one for gaming mode

MSI-GTX-1070-Sea-Hawk-X-gpuz-gaming-mode.png

And the BIOS Version might lead you to

But be aware the BIOS version isn't complete, there can be variations with that same number so no guarantee, you have to decide yourself if you want to take the risk and accept all responsibility.

Or you could save yourself all this trouble and uncertainty by making a BIOS backup before doing any flashing.

Hope it works out for you.

Thanks for your reply, I have tried these BIOS from TechPowerUP, But nothing is working. Also, i tried modding the NvInstaller to make it identify the model by device Hardware ID, also that isn't working.

I found a bios on the MSI forum which isn't uploaded here with a serial number which is very close to your card.
It belongs to a 602-V330-08S. Did you try bioses like these?

What did you accidentally flash? You need to sort the VBIOS before driver installation. If you haven't already then download nvflash

With elevated Admin rights and cmd window run
nvflash64.exe --list
and post result please.

Thank you so much for searching this file for me... And yes, i have tried this one, But that doesn't work too... Looks like i need the same serial number bios which is "602-V330-07S". Meanwhile, i tried modding the nVidia driver by watching some YouTube videos, But still not working....

I found someone with the exact same serial number, which also uploaded the bios on the MSI forum.

It has bios string MSINV330MH.164 which is also in the vbios collection database

Did you use DDU after flashing the bios and before installing the driver?

Dear Brother i don't have enough words to thank you that much!!! i searched for that bios All over the internet like crazy, And you just provided me this precious gem. Now it's time to Flash again with this. After that, if it doesn't work, then it will be mean some serious hardware malfunction occurred which I'm unable to fix by myself. And for your info, i always uninstall driver with DDU.... Pray for me

Hopefully you made a backup of the previous VBIOS before flashing the wrong one. Reflash the original VBIOS and call it good.

Please make a backup first before doing anything

nvflash64.exe --save 1070bak.rom -L rombak.txt
nvflash64.exe --save 1070bak.ifr -L ifrbak.txt

Check text files if successful

Note that Serial Number on board I posted in second post is 602-V330-07SB1606000001 (first model!) while yours is 602-V330-07SB1606001xxx and @VuurVOS is 602-V330-07SB1609000xxx so possibly a slightly different 1070.

Thanks a lot Guys...!!:love: Trying after trying lastly.... I have managed to Fix this issue and successfully Flashed the Real/Original Bios (Special Thanks To VuurVOS) then the Card came back from the dead. I can't thank you enough guys you did a lot for me. :):) But one Strange matter happened that i should tell you guys now, It needed to reinstall the Whole Windows to properly work the Driver, Though i always uninstall any GPU driver with DDU. But looks like Clean Uninstall with DDU doesn't work(For me) after Flashing. This is a whole new experience.
Anyway... Thank u all again for the suggestions, links, and good advice :)

Hopefully you made a backup of the previous VBIOS before flashing the wrong one. Reflash the original VBIOS and call it good.
Dear one, The method of that flashing was awful, i didn't manage to understand whats happening, its just happened in the blink of an eye, i just double-clicked that exe file, and within seconds flash happened... Thats why i couldn't save my Bios.... And it was not the nvflash utility, it was something else with exe file and a batch file, i cant provide the screenshot coz i deleted those files.
